DIY Lavender bath bombs!

What you need:

• 20 drops Lavender
• 1 cup baking soda
•3/4 cup citric acid
• ½ cup corn starch
• 2 teaspoons Epsom salt
• ½ cup coconut oil, melted
• bath bomb mold

**recipe makes 4 large bath bombs**

What to do:

• Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl
• Combine all wet ingredients in a small bowl
• Slowly combine wet ingredients into the large bowl of dry ingredients until the mixture is crumbly
• Fill up each side of the mold, packing down the mixture
• Carefully press the halves together and gently tap the sides of the mold
• After about a minute, remove the mold from the bath bomb and let them sit in room temperature for 24 hours

First, it’s a sore throat and then it’s a fever, and suddenly the tonsils swell, and it hurts to swallow.

Ugh, strep throat! Time to bust out the oils!

Strep throat is a bacterial throat infection and is generally more severe than a virus, so we want to grab the antibacterial essential oils like Oregano Vitality™, Thyme Vitality™, Cinnamon Bark Vitality™, and of course, Thieves Vitality™.

A 2018 study concluded, “The EO of thyme, clove, and cinnamon bark may provide promising antibacterial activity against respiratory tract pathogens either in liquid medium or in v***r phase.”

Preventing strep protocol!

What you need:

• Oregano Vitality™, Thyme Vitality™, Cinnamon Bark Vitality™, or Thieves Vitality™
• Raw honey

What to do:

• Take 2-3 drops of preferred Vitality™ oil in a spoonful of honey once a day
• Start this protocol during the sick seasons or when you start to feel sick

**add your spoonful of honey and essential oils to hot water and lemon for sore throats!**

Combat stress roller blend!

What you need:

• 4 drops Frankincense
• 4 drops Lavender
• 4 drops Patchouli
• Carrier oil
• Roller bottle

What to do:

• Combine all essential oils into roller bottle
• Fill the rest of the bottle with your favorite carrier oil
• Shake thoroughly to combine
• Apply to temples, wrists, the back of your neck, or feet as needed

**for maximum effect, set aside a few minutes to take deep breaths and breathe in the calming scents of the blend**

Gratitude diffuser blend!

• 3 drops Orange
• 2 drops Ginger
• 1 drop Clove
• 1 drop Bergamot

Chocolate orange truffles!What you need:• 4 drops Orange• 8-oz dark chocolate, chopped• 6-oz heavy cream• Dark chocolate...

Chocolate orange truffles!

What you need:

• 4 drops Orange
• 8-oz dark chocolate, chopped
• 6-oz heavy cream
• Dark chocolate candy coating for dipping, or unsweetened cocoa powder for rolling

What to do:

• Using a double boiler or a microwave, melt together the dark chocolate and heavy cream until smooth and shiny
• Add essential oils to the mixture
• Allow mixture to cool for a few hours, you’re looking for a consistency that’s easy to scoop and roll
• Use a small cookie scoop and quickly roll into balls
• If rolling into cocoa powder, roll the balls into powder, shaking the excess off and refrigerate
• If dipping into candy coating, place the balls in refrigerator while you melt the candy coating and dip using a fork
• Set in refrigerator for 1 hour
**best served chilled**

• 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel
• 4 drops Lavender

What to do:

• Mix ingredients in a bowl until well combined
• Wash and exfoliate your face using a gentle scrub
• Apply the mask to your face, avoiding the eyes
• Leave on for around 20 minutes
• Wash off with warm water and a washcloth

**apply your favorite face moisturizer after removing the mask to lock in moisture**
