Starting January 7th, 2025, LATS is introducing a new policy to help keep our community safe and warm during extreme cold weather.

❄️ If temperatures drop below freezing with wind chill, all LATS services will be FREE for the day! ❄️

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We want to make sure everyone in Lawton has access to transportation, especially when the weather gets tough. We're here to keep you safe, warm, and connected! 🚍💙

Taylor Swift didn't walk away with EVERYTHING this year. She didn't have the most-streamed song on Spotify. Billie Eilish did. It was "Birds of a Feather", from her album "Hit Me Hard and Soft".


"Birds of a Feather" had almost 1.8 BILLION streams in 2024, edging out Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" by about 650,000 streams.


Despite all those Spotify streams, "Birds of a Feather" only hit #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Christmas is over, but we’re here to help! The City of Lawton is offering natural Christmas tree collection to residents. Schedule your free pickup from Dec. 30, 2024, to Jan. 8, 2025, by calling the Solid Waste Division (580) 581-3428. Pickups will occur Jan. 3–10.

All City of Lawton offices and sites, including the Lawton Public Library and Landfill, will be CLOSED on:
