Hello all! My name is Dylan Warrington and I am the Director/Producer of this amazing "Based on a True Story - PINK WALLS" short film, a transgender story based on a poem and true story told to me by a transgender friend. It is a story of the courage of a 15 year old transgender boy making a decision on whether or not, to read a poem he wrote, to his school, revealing his true-self.

I am looking for resources and organizations to help fund the project to completion as well as resources or organizations that may find this film useful to show their communities/groups/etc. I believe it is a powerful story that should be told, that may sound all too familiar to the LGBTQ+ community but a wake up call and tear-jerker to the straight, cisgender community.

I am looking to raise money for deferred payment to crew, near and far future film festival costs (which can range from $1-$100 or more), marketing costs, and to recoup costs from going over budget to make this amazing film, so that Warrior Pictures can continue to make other inspiring and impactful films. Warrior Pictures is the non-profit film production company arm of DDUB Productions, that does not seek to gain profit but rather help change the world through the art of film. Additionally, I myself have not and will not seek any profit for films under Warrior Pictures. The money raised is solely to pay for others who worked on the film and any other costs associated with making this film. Any additional money raised over our goal, will go towards future Warrior Pictures productions.

Do you feel that the many "underrepresented" groups of people in this world should be better and more frequently represented in film and their stories should be told? And additionally, provide opportunities to those "underrepresented" groups of people behind the scenes?
If so, then Warrior Pictures wants you to work with us to do just that! Warrior Pictures is looking for something a little different - "Specialty Producers" to help with films in respect to the specific content represented in the different short films being made. Your "technical" title would be "Co-Producer" but for the purpose of describing your specific role - below are the types of Producers we are looking for:

RACIAL PRODUCER: Someone who can connect us with real actors, crew, locations regarding films related to racial topics, and a consultant on racial topics. DESIRED PERSON: Someone who has actually experienced racism in their life.

LGBTQ+ PRODUCER: Someone who can connect us with real actors, crew, locations regarding films related to LGBTQ+ topics, and a consultant on LGBTQ+ topics. DESIRED PERSON: Someone who is actually LGBTQ+.

DISABILITIES PRODUCER: Someone who can connect us with real actors, crew, locations regarding films related to disability topics, and a consultant on disability topics. DESIRED PERSON: Someone who is actually disabled.

PRODUCER/PARTNER: Someone who can help me on a more intimate and dedicated level on all things, help with locations, connecting to cast and crew, money acquisition, social media, etc. DESIRED PERSON: Someone with 3+ years Producing experience and has a great interest in Producing and can dedicate time to Warrior Pictures. This person will work closely with me, Dylan Warrington - Filmmaker, Executive Producer/Director.
