HAPPY LGBTQ+ MONTH! In celebration of this month - a special announcement! Warrior Pictures will finally be premiering "PINK WALLS: Based On A True Story" to the public! When? NEXT WEEK - SATURDAY JUNE 8th at NOON! It will be posted on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram! The transgender short film has won 4 "Best LGBTQ+ Shorts" awards, 1 "Honorable Mention," was Nominated for 2 awards in another, and has been "Officially Selected" in 11 film festivals all over the country! PINK WALLS was nominated at the WIFI Film Festival for “Best Costume Design” and the “Golden Ichabod” or “Best Washburn Student or Alumni Film!” It didn’t win either one but that’s okay because it was in competition with many other great films. But also that isn’t the point of this film. The point of this film is to help people, change perspectives, or even save lives - that is what matters to Warrior Pictures! We appreciate the opportunity to screen the film at WIFI for more eyes to see, thank you!

EXCITING! PINK WALLS was Officially Selected to screen this Saturday at the WIFI Film Festival in Topeka! Oh and it’s FREE! Hoping to get a precise schedule of film screenings soon. Will we see you there?

WIFI is dedicated to promoting and celebrating film production, stories from the Midwest, and education at Washburn University, in the Topeka community, and in the state of Kansas.

Warrior Pictures had Pink Walls first local screening at the AMC Ward Theater for the Kansas City FilmFest International yesterday! Dylan Warrington - Filmmaker had the opportunity to speak a little more about the film to the audience and interact with other filmmakers and actors. We loved that Peaty Romano & Beth Prescott Romano, the parents of Liam Romano, whose story Pink Walls is based on, were present for the screening! It was a wonderful event! We thank all who came out to watch our film and all other films screening this weekend!
