And to top it off, I was on the brink of burnout. Deep down inside I had the desire to shine too and I walked through the world feeling less than. Things began to change when I asked myself:
"What is blocking me from my next level of success?"

Fear...not just fear but my vulnerability in expressing my fears. I realized that my inability to be vulnerable created a wall between myself and my audience as well as my clients. Now like many of you, I am stepping out and willing to be fully self-expressed both in my written and video content. I have learned that the secret to engagement and attracting my divine client is my willingness to share the journey. Why is this important? We connect

For an entire year, my business stalled.

I thought I needed more confidence to relaunch.

Looking back, I can see something I couldn’t see then.

I needed clarity.

That came full circle recently while talking with a coach preparing to launch a new program.

She told me she needed more confidence.

And I thought, Oh, I know this feeling.

But instead of giving her a pep talk, we started connecting the pieces.

What was she launching?

Who was it for?

How did it connect to the work she was already doing?

What was the next step for someone who wanted more?

That’s the strategist in me.

I’m always listening for the gap between where you are, where you want to go, and what’s missing in between.

As we talked, she said:

“It feels comfortable. It feels doable.”

That’s what clarity can give you.

Not the absence of fear.

Enough direction to move.

Sometimes confidence doesn’t come before you do the thing.

It comes because you did it.

So I’m curious:

You ever finish a busy day, look at everything you accomplished, and realize you didn't connect with a single new person? 🙋🏽♀️

You served your clients. Answered the emails. Handled the unexpected things.

And the conversations you planned to have? Tomorrow. Again.

Here's the reminder I'm giving myself, too: Serving the clients you have and building relationships with the people you haven't met yet are BOTH acts of service.

One honors today's commitments. The other opens the door to tomorrow's opportunities.

I'm protecting a little time each day to connect, follow up, and nurture relationships. Not waiting for a magically empty calendar. 😊

Someone can read your post, follow you...and still disappear.

They found you.
They liked what you said.
They may even think, “I need to keep following her.”

Then...nothing.

Here's a quick check:

How do people find you?
Where can they go deeper?
What can they do when they're ready for more?

Can you draw a clear line between the three?

This is the work I help experienced women do.

Because the problem isn't always visibility.
Sometimes it's the gap between being visible and creating opportunities from that visibility.

If someone discovered you today and wanted to know more, would she know what to do next?

“What else do I need?” 😂

Sometimes? Nothing.

The problem isn't what's missing.
It's what isn't connected.

Put the things you've already created on one page and ask:

How does someone move from THIS...to THAT?

That's a Visibility Ecosystem.

Not more stuff.
Connected stuff.

One question changed the direction of a conversation.

I had just finished recording She SHINES on Purpose and asked my guest:

“How can I continue to serve you in your business?”

That question opened the door to a training inside her community and another potential collaboration.

No pitch.
No sales script.

Just relationship + conversation + curiosity.

That's what I mean when I say visibility should create opportunities.

And opportunity doesn't always mean client.

It can be a referral.
Collaboration.
Introduction.
Speaking invitation.
A new room.

Think about your last meaningful business conversation.

Did it end when the meeting ended?

Or did you leave space to discover what might be possible next?

What's one opportunity that started with a conversation you almost didn't have?

Here’s what I’d look at first ↓

Before creating more content, I want to know:
What’s happening with the visibility you already have?

Because sometimes your social media is working.

People see you.
They engage.
They follow you.

But visibility is only the beginning.

The question is: Where does the movement stop?

I’d look at three things:
𝟭. 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥
Are the right people finding you?

𝟮. 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
Are they engaging, responding, or starting conversations?

𝟯. 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
When someone is interested, is there an obvious next step?

Three different places where movement can stop.
Three different solutions.

And none of them are automatically solved by posting more.

Because visibility should lead somewhere:
𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 → 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 → 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 → 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 → 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁

So before you add another platform, strategy, or three more posts to your content calendar, figure out where the movement stops.

That will tell you what actually needs your attention.

Have you ever outgrown a version of yourself that everyone else still remembers?

I’ve been thinking about this lately.

We grow.

Our interests change.

Our experiences shape us.

We get clearer about what we want.

And sometimes we quietly become a different version of ourselves before the people around us realize it.

I think this happens in business too.

You can spend years becoming known for something.
People trust you for it.
They refer you for it.

They introduce you as:

“Oh, you need to talk to her. She’s the one who…”

And then one day you realize...

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲.

Not because the old work was wrong.
You’ve simply grown.
Your expertise has deepened.
Your vision has expanded.

And now the way people see you needs a little time (and intention) to catch up with who you’ve become.

I can relate to this one personally.
My own work is evolving too.

I’m thinking less about visibility simply as posting and content...

and much more about how visibility creates relationships, conversations, opportunities, and ultimately revenue.

It doesn’t mean I’m leaving everything I’ve done behind.
I’m building on it.

And maybe that’s the reminder:

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄.

Sometimes you’re simply allowing people to meet the next version of you.

So I’m curious...

I had one of those moments on a client call recently that stayed with me.

My client was telling me about running into a woman she hadn't seen in years.

The woman stopped her to say thank you.

She remembered conversations they'd had years ago.
My client barely remembered them.
But this woman remembered the impact.

As I listened, I could hear the value of my client's work so clearly.

The interesting part?

She was having a harder time seeing it herself.
And I thought about how often we do that.
We dismiss the things that come naturally to us.

“That's just what I do.”
“I've always been good at that.”
“That's nothing special.”

Meanwhile, someone else is thinking...

“You have no idea how much that helped me.”

Sometimes we spend so much time looking for the next thing to learn, add, or become that we overlook what we've already spent years developing.

Your ability to listen.

To see what other people don't see.
To ask the right question.
To make the connection.
To help someone move forward.

Those things count.

And yes, when you're building a business, you have to learn how to put language around that value so other people can understand it.

But first, you have to recognize it yourself.

So I'm curious...

We’re always reaching for more.

But sometimes purpose asks us to look closer.

Who is already in front of me?
Who can I encourage?
Who can I serve?

Who can I leave better because our paths crossed today?

One person or 1,000.

The number changes.
The intention doesn’t.
That’s what showing up on purpose means to me.
