🐝🌸 Some critters truly work hard for their pollen! Bumblebees (Bombus species) are 2-4 times more effective pollinators per bee than honeybees and solitary bees. They’re 50-200% faster at flower visits and spend twice as much time each day pollinating. With over 250 species globally, nearly 50 in North America, and 10 in Mississippi alone, these buzzing buddies are essential for pollination. 🐝🌺

Their "buzz pollination" helps greenhouse tomatoes by using ultrasonic vibrations to release pollen. It’s their superpower in action! 💪🍅
