How is 2024 already making its debut a little less than two weeks from now!? Also, hi!!! Omgsh, it’s been too long, I know!
Before your timelines are flooded with all the 2023 recaps, I wanted to write you a note of reflection and gratitude as I make an intentional decision to sign off a bit earlier this year.
Although you may see a lot of joy in this highlight reel, let me say that that’s all it is, a highlight reel. I enjoy joy and sharing it, but I also value authenticity, so just know there was so much more happening in real life than what you see. It’s not me to capture the down and out moments of my life on video, but in words, I can say that truthfully this year was filled with so many rollercoaster emotions. Emotions of sadness yet praise, painful growth but with joyful healing, discontentment followed by pure awe of alignment. A mixed bag of, “Oh no!” and “YAY!” moments. (If you feel me on that, I see you and send you love!) As I review in hindsight, I still cherish every moment from this year. I value the down and ups because it got me to today. And I like me and my life today.
Aside from my reflection, I want to highlight how truly grateful I am for this little community. I'l walk out of 2023 with a true appreciation of all that's happened for Dizzy Spangle this year along with all the people I got to meet & create goodness with. With that, 2024 will present some changes that may not allow me to be on here as often as I would like to. Don't worry, it's not an ending for this space. It's a pause. As much as I want to say I can do it all, I can't. I'm not a robot. Just a human, and one who is trying to stay realistic with how much she can do while staying laser-focused on elevating other parts of her life, just for a little while.
