Walt Disney Animation Studios is set to release Moana 2, an epic animated musical adventure that brings back our beloved characters Moana (voiced by Auli‘i Cravalho) and Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson). Three years after their original journey, Moana receives an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, leading her on a thrilling new voyage across the far seas of Oceania. Joined by a crew of unlikely seafarers, Moana will navigate dangerous, long-lost waters, embarking on an adventure like never before.
This all-new feature, directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledoux Miller, is produced by Christina Chen and Yvett Merino. The film's music is crafted by an incredible team of talent, including Grammy® winners Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, Grammy nominee Opetaia Foa‘i, and three-time Grammy winner Mark Mancina.
