Victorian Teardrop by Gary Somers. I could not resist doing another teardrop in clear textured glass. When the sun comes out it dazzles. Not all heritage glass this time, but all our heritage themed...apart from the jewel.

I finished my son’s Christmas present in the nick of time! I started doing stained glass about a year ago and this is my first large piece. Even though there are flaws…I think it turned out pretty good.

I was gifted this from one of my residents at work just a “unique” piece yes I know not true stained glass. Her dad made it for her mom YEARS ago. Made of broken mirror pieces and looks like on black velvet of some sorts with Christmas lights. It’s actually growing on me for some reason ❤️❤️❤️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Hi everyone! I learned stained glass about 30 years ago from my uncle and finally picked it back up again. First project so far, no pattern just vibes 😎 The center hoop is a welding rod bent into a circle, glass blobs were from Michaels and the thrift store. Happily hanging in my living room to get the morning sun!

Follow “KS Glassworks” for possible future commission pieces!
Edited to add final piece! Couldn’t wait until tonight to solder 😆
This gave me a run for my money…a BIG learning experience! It’s far from perfect and there are some gaps but at this point I don’t care lol ready for solder tonight 🥳

My rooster, that I completed recently, to put in my farmhouse kitchen.
Edit: all of the clear glass comes from the broken windows of my 141 year old farmhouse (we are restoring) . Even the "chicken wire".

For years my dad supported my stained glass hobby, buying the supplies, helping me cut zinc frame, and letting me fill his house with little shards of glass, and now that I have my own place I finally had the opportunity to make a piece for him.
