Has the Air Force completely run off the rails?

The new EPR that is coming out would say yes it has.

Major Changes:
(1) Statement Format
(2) No Ratings that anyone can see Except the Rater and Ratee
(3) Ratings can only be seen in MyEval2.0

If the "Good Ol Boy/Girl" system wasn't heavy in your squadron already it will be soon.

Let the Air Force "Hunger Games" Truly begin with this new format.

New Stratification system: Top 25% get Strated
- Top 10% of SNCO's get a # of # example: #1 of 80 MSgt's
- Top 15% of SNCO's get a statement "Top 25% of MSgt's"

What the hell's the point? Get rid of the stratification system and let folks be graded on their merit not the number folks fought for at a table.....this is stupid.

What has the Air Force become? The struggles are real folks…even as upper tier leadership getting a unit to operate differently for the betterment of the personnel and mission is like trying to pull teeth from a gator. If I as upper tier leadership can’t get change moving what hope does the lower tiers have?

Our team received a notification of the loss of a separated Defender.

On February 13th, 2023, Edward lost his battle with Mental Health, sadly taking his own life.

Edward served honorably as Security Forces and ended his career as part of our civilian Defender family. After serving on Active Duty 2007 - 2015, Edward served as a DAF officer from 2015 - 2021 between JBER and Randolph AFB.

Edward was a light in any dark room. He was a great friend to many.

Our hearts go out to his family, all his co-workers and friends. Please join us in keeping his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers in this time of need.
