So there I was, typing away like it was just another normal day — focused, productive, doing all the things I was “supposed” to do. But you know what they never tell you? Sometimes the loneliness sneaks in right in the middle of the workday. Not at night… not in the quiet moments… but in the middle of emails, deadlines, and checklists.

I kept working, pretending I didn’t feel that familiar ache rising in my chest. But by the time I stood by the window, something inside me finally whispered, “Just feel it.”
And so I did.

So there she was, my sweet Golden Babe, sitting by the window with that soft, faraway look — the kind you get when your heart is carrying more than you can say out loud. The room was warm, but she looked like she was somewhere else entirely… somewhere made of memories, hopes, and a little ache she didn’t want anyone to see.
