LCPS administration is closely monitoring this week's winter weather forecast. As of this message, much cooler temperatures and snow are predicted but we are unsure how it could affect the school day.
Should conditions change that require early dismissal, a delayed start to the day, or remote learning, we will update you as soon as possible. Please watch your email, text message notifications and LCPS social media channels for more information as it becomes available.

Here are your Pets of the Week over at The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley: Baby Grey and Riley. Riley is currently in a Foster Home and does extremely well around cats and people and would love to find her forever home soon. Baby Grey has been at the shelter for a while and is a little nervous to check you out at first, but once you show him you are a good person, he will warm up quickly. Here are Your Pets of the Week over at The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley; Loki and Danny Boy. Danny Boy has had quite a hard start in life but has been able to build a little trust and weight with his foster home. Danny Boy would make a great companion to walk and play with and would love to find his home forever soon. Loki the Cat of the Week is one of the very few cats left at the shelter. Don't let his grumpy face fool you. He is full of sweetness. He just has to get to know you and will be your best bud. Levi and Dolly Parton are your Pets of the Week over at The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley. Levi has been at the shelter for a while and appears to be a little shy at first but once he gets to know you, he shows you his true funny and friendly self. Dolly Parton is doing well at her foster home with potty training and more, but would sure love to find her home forever soon. She is a little shy at first and is having a hard time getting used to her surroundings at the shelter but will warm up very quickly with a one on one visit.
