"As a journalist and a non-scientist, Barbara Reynolds approaches The Rise and Fall of the Techno-Messiah through the lens of theology and warns of the tragic consequences of allowing science and technology to determine humanity's agenda. She writes with a prophetic calling as one on fire, daring to interrupt the silence, and wonders aloud how a godly presence could be excluded from perhaps the most transformative, life-changing force of our generation without disastrous results."

- Dr. Bernice A. King
CEO, The King Center
Daughter of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mrs. Coretta Scott King

“It was this Jesus who promised his disciples that they would “receive power after…the Holy Ghost…[came] upon [them],” (Acts 1:8) and that they would do “greater works” than he did when he was on earth (Jn 14:12).
With these and other empowering and liberating scriptures, black Apostolic Pentecostal leaders found the capacity to confront racial injustice and social evil in ways that made a difference. For many of them, the theology that the full presence of God dwells in the name and person of Jesus Christ empowered their dramatic, transformative response to
social injustice and evil.”

- Bishop James I. Clark, "Justice in Jesus' Name"

Justice in Jesus' Name is now for sale at the link in our bio. This book is best described as, "a MUST-READ for all within the black Apostolic tradition, for this history by this noted churchman, scholar, and theologian, undertakes the herculean task of broaching a difficult subject from historic and contemporary perspectives and weaving a narrative of effective black Apostolic engagement with the issue of social activism. Clark challenges us to replicate outstanding peoples' actions into the tradition's current structure in a broader, more unified manner as we attempt to address contemporary issues. I pray there will be a coming together under an extra denominational banner to work to that end."
