! In case you haven't heard yet, we've got a really, REALLY good thing growing down in York, thanks to an incredible team and a really hungry crowd of learners! We will be back at George Street Bistro & Bar on February 26th for another bachata class at 7pm, with a social dance party to follow!

For this upcoming event, we have Alexis, owner of Latin AF Dance Company teaching our Bachata class! Alexis has been teaching a variety of Latin dance styles for over 10 years, with emphasis on Salsa, Bachata, and Latin Hustle. Alexis and the members of his company's dance team have had the incredible opportunity to dance on stage with some of the biggest names in the bachata genre: Luis Vargas, Zacarias Ferreira, Joe Veras, Kiko Rodriguez, Optimo & Judy Santos, and also performed at the Philadelphia Eagle's Hispanic Heritage Halftime Show at Lincoln Financial Field in October of 2024. We're beyond excited to bring him to York and this will be a night you do not want to miss!!!

Looking for a cute event to break out some sexy and seductive dance moves with a date or vibe and groove with your gals!? Well, we have a little 💕Valentines-week-themed💕 Bachata event coming up at George Street Bistro & Bar in downtown York on Thursday night, Feb. 13th!

Come early and order a bite to eat before the kitchen closes (food orders stop at 8pm) and/or grab yourself a fancy mocktail or a cute little cocktail to kick off the party!

🕺🏽- Around 7pm, the incredible Luis Santiago will be presenting the group Bachata class. He's incredible in the group setting, so whether this is your first time to a bachata class, or you're confident with your basics but wanna spruce up your styling or partnerwork, he is guaranteed to deliver something that will help you improve your skills on the dancefloor!
🎶 - Once the class has concluded, the dancefloor will open up for social dancing, with music selected by me, DJ Rumspringa, The Amish Salsero! We'll keep the music, an intentionally crafted mix of Bachata, Merengue, Salsa & more, til *at least* 10pm, so bring your energy and I'll bring the music, and together we'll make it a night to remember!!!

Ladies, Gentlemen, and those outside those labels!!! Emil from Source Creative House, myself, and the amazing talent from right here in the Central PA Area are so very excited to publicly announce an evening of salsa and bachata workshops coming to the Harrisburg metro area on March 14th!!!

🕺🏽What you can expect 💃🏽
- A bachata workshop with Alexis Frutos, owner of and professional dancer for Latin AF Dance Company out of Reading. Alexis and his team have had the esteemed honor of dancing on stage with some of the top names in Bachata, as well as dancing on the Lincoln Financial Field during Eagles Game Hispanic Heritage Month halftime show in 2024. Alexis very recently also claimed the 1st place title for Latin Hustle Rising Star at The Summit dance competition.
- A salsa workshop with York local, Luis Santiago. Luis has spent much of his life in the competitive dance scene, an effort that has allowed him to proudly claim the title of Salsa World Champion, TWICE!!! Luis currently teaches Latin dance in studios dotted around the central PA Area and it is our privilege to have him bring his teaching skills to the Harrisburg area!
- Eli with will be in the building with a food booth, so come hungry!
- Myself, DJ RUMSPRINGA, will be in the booth for a social dance following the dance workshops.

We're really, REALLY excited to bring you all highly qualified Latin dance training and we'd absolutely love to see you in the mix. Oh, and by all means tell your friends... If you've been looking for the perfect time to dip your toes into salsa and bachata, Luis and Alexis will be the perfect match for you. Their ability to break "complicated-looking" dance styles to a few basics that can be quickly adopted by everyone in the class is sure to have you moving confidently by the end of the evening.

Is the cold getting to you? Do you wanna get out of the house and create some heat? If so, come grab a fun little cocktail and join our bachata class/social in fogging up some windows in York tonight at George Street Bistro & Bar! I have some fun salsa tracks (Oscar D'Leon, El Gran Combo & Frankie Ruiz, but not the songs you'd predict 😉) I'll be playing before the bachata lesson starts so get there right at 6:30 for some fun 😊😊

The inaugural Bachata Night @ George Street Bistro & Bar had an absolutely lovely turnout!!!

Big shout out to Casey Renee Grim for pulling it all together, to Luis Santiago for the incredible, entertaining and engaging lesson, and to all the friends, old and new, who showed up!!! Excited already to run it back next month!!! (February 13th - Mark those calendars, folks!!!)
