After joining us for round 2 for the summer of a wonderful community night of dancing in the Binns Park, were we've got dance classes, social dancing, and some fun group dances planned, you're probably wanting to continue the party, right? I mean the night is still young at 8:30pm, is it not!?

Well, HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU OR WHAT!? Lancaster Holiday Inn and The Imperial Restaurant have graciously decided to sponsor a FREE after-party at the Imperial Terrace across the street for an official Bachata at Binns After Party!!! So come warm up in the park, then make your way over to the Terrace and cool down with some amazing drinks & food and we'll keep the party going until 11pm! And this party... We've got live musical performances by artists right out of Lancaster, Kronical X & Nevaya Marquez.

AND, to make the night a little more special and sprinkle a little more romanticism on top of everything, I will be closing my set with a full hour of vinyl! I've got salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, afrobeats, and even some latin jazz records to keep us moving from 10-11pm and I can't wait to share the vibes!!! You don't wanna miss it! ​🔥🔥🔥

Can be best described as that euphoric feeling that hits at 11pm in the club 3 stories below the 50's-ice-cream-shop-themed speakeasy you entered through with your best and safest friends (you obviously pregamed and some herb-infused gelatin may have been involved...). This mix is meant to elicit a more trancey, meditative state that helps calm your nervous system while also inspiring some body movement, because as you know, dance is a healing art form.

Went on quite the journey with last night's mix. Started with traditional bachata, merengue, and salsa, then used some cumbia to transition to the gritty new sound of "cumbiaton", then dipped our toes into reggaeton before hitting some festival headliner energy with electro, then eventually dialed the energy back to some bachata and ended the mix with a calm leg of Afro house, melodic techno, tech house, and some bright prog house to close. It covers a broad spectrum but I have lots of fun trying to weave all the sounds I enjoy into a journey and hope you all have a chance to enjoy some of what I cooked up!

Lancaster is getting a Brunch and Bachata event right in the center of the city, on the patio at The Imperial Restaurant at the Lancaster Holiday Inn, and yet again, I will be DJing!!! I still personally keep track of other local dance events (feel free to message me directly if you need the scoop for a particular day/weekend), but due to how valuable my time has become for me lately and for other personal reasons, my days of freely promoting others' events on social media that I do not have direct involvement with (beyond rustling up a band of friends to join me when I go out) are officially in the past. Instead I will be focusing my energy on the joy that is creating/being involved with events that I think my friends in the local dance community will love. To those of you who have shown up to aggressively support the things I get my fingers into, I love and appreciate the absolute crap out of you. You know who you are 💜💜💜
