UPDATE: Boat was found left at State Park Campground.

Keep an eye out for this boat on the water. It’s been reported as missing from his dock in Blackhawk. He was last here in June, so sometime between then and now it’s been taken without his authorization.

The next 10 days will be the busiest on the water than it will probably be all summer so I thought we would post just a couple quick reminders. The two new no Wake zones are still in effect and for good reason as we are still pulling debris out almost every day. if you find yourself stranded, one of the first things you should do is throw anchor so that your location will not change. Use your distress flag if needed, give us a call with your location and boat description, being able to send us a live location or just a screenshot of where you’re at, reduces the time that it takes us to find you dramatically . Be courteous and help a fellow boater if you see them in distress. We’ve got a great group of volunteers here, but even we are overworked when it comes to times like this. If you have called us for help and someone stops and is helping you, please call or text us back so we can disregard your call and go onto the next one. So have fun, but have a plan when you go out and do it safely. ⚓️🛟🪝🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎆🔆🌞🌞

Nice little project for today

Today was a perfect example of how manned and unmanned aircraft can work safely in the same location. I had a project almost exactly 1 mile East of runway 25 approach at Bellefontaine Regional Airport. Using 2 visual observers, aircraft detection in the software, and a courtesy call to the airport the day before and today, We were able to complete the task without incident. Huge shoutout to Midwest Corporate Air, pilots, and students for the professionalism and cooperation.
