📸 Photo Dump: My Life Lately 📸

October has been a whirlwind, so I thought I’d share a little behind-the-scenes look at what I’ve been up to—both work and personal life! 🙌

🌿 Work mode: Content calendars, reports, and strategy sessions are in full swing! I’m also in the middle of a unique project creating a 9-grid Instagram profile for a client. It’s coming together, and I’m excited to see how it turns out when it's done! Still juggling lots of moving parts, but that’s life in social media!

👶 Personal life: Baby girl’s due date is getting closer, so we’ve been in full prep mode at home! Between the nursery and trying to find some moments to relax before the craziness ramps up, it's been a busy but rewarding time. 😊

Here are a few snapshots from my October so far—feeling super grateful for all the projects and changes happening in this season!

Attending SCORE Mentors‘s annual Women's Business Symposium for the 3rd year in a row! ✨

This year's theme was all about wins & lessons (no losses here!). We were inspired by incredible speakers like Ekeya Wallace from Paradigm Consulting and Financial Solutions, and Pamela Starr from Starr & Company.

Ekeya's reminder that "success = victories and failures" resonated deeply with me, and she encouraged us to reflect on our recent wins. Pamela shared super practical tips like tracking progress weekly and jotting down even the smallest wins. She suggested keeping a success journal or creating a "win board" for daily motivation.

While the speakers were amazing, my favorite part was reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones. The speed networking session was a fantastic new addition – quick but so effective! Made tons of connections in no time. 🚀

Huge thanks to everyone who made this event possible. Can't wait for next year! 💼

✨ The Reality of Entrepreneurship ✨

One thing about being an entrepreneur: there are no sick days. Since Saturday, I’ve been battling what I believe to be COVID-19, and to make it more challenging, I’m almost 27 weeks pregnant. With limited medication options, I’ve had little sleep, can’t breathe out of my nose, and my body aches all over. But I refuse to let my clients down.

Running a business solo is tough, but I push through not just for my clients, but also for my husband, my unborn child, and myself. This journey isn’t easy, but it’s worth it. 💪✨

Achieving Work/Life Balance: My Top 3 Strategies

1️⃣ My Calendar = Life 📅
Every appointment, personal or business, goes in my calendar. And I stick to it religiously. It's my ultimate guide to staying organized and on track.

2️⃣ Task Management 📝
I write down the tasks I want to complete for the day and prioritize them from most important to least important. Key tip: Don’t overload your list! I stick to 7 tasks or less per day to stay focused and productive.

3️⃣ Seeking Support 🤝
A little less than a year ago, I decided I needed some help and brought on a contractor. Delegating tasks when work gets overwhelming is invaluable. Don't be afraid to invest in your business and hire someone when you're short on time.
