Havasu Rocks, Rockshop & Lapidary Workshop Welcome to the Havasu Gem & Mineral Society page! We have a Lapidary shop, rocks, gems and jewelry

Havasu Rocks is operated by the Lake Havasu Gem & Mineral Society. We have rough rock, slabs, geodes, crystals, cabochons, jewelry, and more available at our retail store at our new Lapidary Shop and inside the Lake Havasu Museum of History. The club also proudly has a complete Lapidary shop available for use and rock cutting services. We identify rocks daily so bring your rocks down to the shop we can cut them open!

Meet at Lowe's parking lot at 8:30am, leaving at 9am
Caravan to exit 1 off the 40 heading towards needles.
Most all vehicles can make it but I would not take my low car...
You can surface collect (it's everywhere) but the bigger stuff is buried. I would take a small shovel, a bucket, a small pick, bags or egg cartons for the fragile stuff.

The Lake Havasu Gem and Mineral Society would like to thank Dr. Persaud and Our Lady of the lake Roman Catholic parish, for including us in the discussion for their science fair groups. ElleyKnowsRocks and Steve Prather represented the lake Havasu Gem and Mineral Society today talking to kids about geology and science. "Talking to the kids today about rocks and geology was a big hit. They especially were interested when they heard that the metals in their cell phone come straight from a rock" said Elley "all the kids loved the UV reactive minerals and the rocks that they got to take home" said Steve

The Lapidary Shop will have the retail front open but the Workshop will be closed tomorrow Wednesday January 15th and Saturday January 18th. We will be in Quartzite so come by the club booth we are just outside the QIA BUILDING SPACE #420

We had a visitor from the Rocky Mountain Federation and they wanted to go out so we took them to our "Big River Brown Trout Gypsy Jasper" as Steve calls it 😁 we came up with this trip at our Friday night meeting and invited everyone at the meeting. Thank you Steve and Elley Knows Rocks for another great trip! We once again found unique stuff from the last trip at the same spot! Great hounding everyone!
