I'm DJing a wedding at the San Moritz Lodge today. A little girl that is maybe 4 years old just grabbed and was playing with my microphone.
I politely explained to her "I'm sorry, that's not a toy, may I please have it back?"

She responded sweetly "But, I'm a big girl?"

I then told her "yes, but we still can't play with it, okay? "
And she said "that's okay" and handed it back and skipped off to find other mischief to get into.
