Jed The Fish was one of the MANY radio personalities who were MASSIVE influences on my radio career. One of the stalwarts and lynchpins of KROQ-FM/Los Angeles during its heyday, Jed's weird and unique personality was perfect for the 'ROQ of the 80's and he got to be on the ground floor for MANY Alternative acts like Duran Duran, The Pretenders, Oingo Boingo, and so much more. With his passing today at the age of 69 from lung cancer, the radio landscape feels a bit less. But I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the lasting impression you left on me, Jed, I will never forget it, and promise to pass it on - Mike
