Sunday Scripture – Faith

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
– Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Faith is the foundation of our Christian walk. It is trusting in what we cannot see, believing that God is who He says He is and that His promises are true. Often, life challenges us to step into the unknown, to trust Him when the path ahead seems unclear. But this is where faith grows.

Think of Abraham, who trusted God and journeyed to a land he had never seen. Or Peter, who stepped out of the boat onto the waves. Their faith wasn’t rooted in their circumstances but in the One who called them.

Faith doesn’t mean we will always have answers or that trials will disappear, but it does mean we can rest in God’s faithfulness. He is working behind the scenes, even when we cannot see or understand.

This week, let’s challenge ourselves to take one step of faith—whether it’s trusting God with a difficult situation, sharing the Gospel, or simply surrendering our worries to Him.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV)

Let’s walk boldly in faith this week, knowing He will guide our steps.
