Although it may be impossible to resist this beautiful backdrop as a photo or video opportunity, be sure to use caution due to the colder temperatures! Here is our #1 tip on how you can prepare your equipment for temperature changes:
Leave your camera in the bag, but slightly open the top. This will allow colder air to come in and the temperature changes to be more gradual. This will keep condensation from forming. Do the same thing when bringing your gear in from the cold.

Here's a few tips when taking photos of Christmas Lights......

1. The best time to shoot outdoor holiday lights is after sunset, but before total darkness

2. Turn your flash off when shooting outdoor lights

3. Try dimming the house lights when shooting indoor lights

4. Remember to use a tripod if possible

5. Take a test shot first

6. Don't forget to include someone or a favorite furry friend in the shot ~ Make Memories ❣️
