I love all my design and production jobs, but book design and publishing is my favorite this week. The work is so peaceful and mind-focusing! There is a new novel out now, which I helped design (cover and interior), called "The Buddha of Eastern Parkway." It is in the brand new genre of Buddhist fiction, and you should seek it out via your favorite book seller. The author is Mary Frances Carney (Eido Frances Carney).

It's a great feeling to "win the gold" for recent promo video work! Much gratitude to the unstoppable Carol Johnson Riley, Director of Olympia Harbor Days, and to Mary Johnson Hall, Chairperson of OHD, and to the rest of the OHD team (who also took home gold for their contributions to the most awesome of all South Sound festivals)! Shanna Paxton Photography, Kathryn Coffman, of Fashionably Frank Marketing, and Parachute Technology. The local maritime community is, of course, rich in history and tradition, and it has been a pleasure to document a small slice of that history in my work. The Olympia Harbor Days Festival marks the end of summer every year over Labor Day weekend.
