Simple mixing reminder:

Always remember that the small moves always affect the larger goal. I know we all get caught up in the whole “this is how we mix pro vocals etc.” thing and especially when we feel a record might be getting the best of us. I think sometimes we really do forget that we’re climbing a ladder of learning and discovery.

So remember when a part of the song gives you problems ask why and then ask yourself should I lean into the issue to purposefully make it a thing or does it really need fixing. Some problems just fix themselves you know ☺️
