My name is CAYJUYN SPYCE, and I’m from Galveston Island, TX. I am not a BOI (I was born in Clear Lake 🤣), but I was immediately brought back to the island. As a born and raised Black woman in Texas, Juneteenth has always been meaningful to me. I was honored to do what I love in the park I spent many days in!! The park my family has enjoyed for generations. I won’t be bringing the heat on any stage today, but I’ll be enjoying the community and our beautiful island. We recently partnered with Palm Tree Princess Productions for our Grad Giveaway. We’ve been able to bless 8 graduates with a little something special. They’ve all worked very hard and we can’t wait to see how far they go!! We believe in pouring into the community that watered us.
