County Presidents Conference - Jan. 16
The County Presidents Conference on Jan. 16 will gather county Farm Bureau association leaders to:
• Build relationships between peers leading county associations across the state.
• Increase knowledge of Farm Bureau priorities, services, opportunities and support in order to elevate the success of local work and establish greater consistency in association governance and strategy.
• Enhance the skills and capacity of county presidents as the foundation for high-functioning, efficient and effective county associations.

Campaign School Mini Session - Jan. 16
If you're considering running for state legislature, school board, county commission or other public office, KFB's Campaign School Mini Session on Jan. 16 can teach you the nuts and bolts of campaigning and help you execute a winning campaign. The sessions are only $50 for Farm Bureau members in Kansas and $75 for nonmembers. Attendance is limited to the first 20 registrations at each location.

Day at the Statehouse - Jan. 16-17
Farm Bureau members in Kansas are also encouraged to register for Day at the Statehouse (DAS), held Jan. 16-17, where farmers and ranchers learn about legislative issues, advocate policy with lawmakers and engage in valuable conversations to be the Voice of Agriculture.

GARRETT AND CALEY LOVE - 2022 FARM FAMILY OF THE YEAR!
Garrett and Caley Love farm in Gray County where they raise cattle and grow milo, soybeans corn and wheat on dryland and irrigated acres, in addition to raising their four children: Abby, Lauren, Grayson and Eliza. Conservation is crucial to the Loves’ operation, which has used no-till practices to protect the soil and preserve moisture. The Loves have diversified their income through a pheasant and deer hunting business. Garrett and Caley are active civic leaders, and they appreciate Farm Bureau’s role in advancing rural issues.

Our Field Services Manager serves on a team of Kansas Farm Bureau staff that work directly with the Kansas County Farm Bureaus to ensure effectiveness of local programming and long-term vitality of the grassroots organizational structure. The incumbent in this role also develops relationships with producers, ag businesses, community organizations and elected officials to create and maintain strong memberships and partnerships for the benefit of agriculture and rural Kansas. This role is also responsible for managing issues in the designated district and other issues as assigned by the supervisor or organizational leadership.
