9/11 Memorial Tribute -2024
On Sept. 7, the Kokomo Fire Dept, Kokomo Police Department, Howard County Sheriff's Office and community partners invite you to participate in the 9/11 Memorial Tribute Challenge -- a day of remembering the fallen and raising funds for three local scholarships.
There will be:
- A 110-flight stair climb with stair climbers provided by One More Gym and Planet Fitness
- 5K walk/run -- a points race provided by Club Kokomo Roadrunners
- A Crossfit WOD provided by CrossFit Kokomo
- Food & beverages from Hawg Heaven Kokomo during the event
- Live Music from Mike Milligan and Steam Shovel
- Fireworks, pizza and more

In this episode, The Kokomo Post Kids are the stars of the show as we spotlight Movies in the Park. The Kokomo Parks & Recreation Dept. offers Family Movie Night a few times a year, free to the public at Foster Park where you can bring your chairs, blankets & family to enjoy an outdoor movie on their giant inflatable screen.
