Back in 2000, New Jersey indie institution Yo La Tengo released their stunning album And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out. One of that LP’s highlights was a spare, beautiful cover of disco pioneer George McCrae’s 1974 single “You Can Have It All.” Yo La Tengo released that song as a sin...

This week’s special bake includes our delicious breakfast cookies. We heard from one customer that she was addicted to them and promised to bring them back for her. However we lost her number, so if you know anyone who may have been addicted to these cookies when we made them for a local coffee shop make sure they know to order.

The Harold Shersky Pizza. Honoring the man behind the Knoxville staple Harold’s deli which was open for a remarkable 55 years. Shersky was a lifelong Knoxville resident and a veteran of the Second World War. He purchased the deli in 1948 and it quickly became a favorite spot for all of Knoxville including, at times, the mayor and the city council. He worked there with his wife until the last day, greeting every customer with a smile. The pizza has Egg, Cheese, Smoked Salomon, Capers, Red Onion, and Crema and is on the brunch menu at both restaurants.
