BULLYING: Yes, kids will be kids, but it's NOT okay to stand back and expect CHILDREN with immature minds to know how to sort things out. It's a good idea to step in, intervene, and help them to LEARN how to constructively and effectively address the problem.
It can be dangerous to teach a child that protecting himself and defending his own interests is the wrong way to handle problems. They will likely develop a crippling pattern of avoidance and an unhealthy fear of conflict.
Children are NOT little adults. They don't know how to resolve every conflict that comes their way. Turning the other cheek as a child will create an adult that CANNOT handle failure, disappointment, rejection because they don't know how to deal with it — they never learned how!
🚨🚨 DO NOT lie to your child and tell them their bullies are jealous.
DO NOT downplay them being bullied now even IF we know it won’t matter years from now. 8 months of school with a bully is a life sentence to a child.
DO NOT tell a CHILD to turn the other cheek. TEACH that child to stand their grown, steps to take to resolve the conflict up to and including adult intervention.

ATTENTION ALL POLITICAL CANDIDATES: Do NOT ignore voters who took THEIR time to come meet you. Especially in a one-on-one setting. The WORST thing you can do is make them feel unimportant! I know candidates (even their spouses) in much higher positions who listen, respond, and make voters feel like their ONE VOTE is as important as anyone else BECAUSE IT IS! In FACT it's more important because those are the votes you EARN, they're not bought or bartered.
BIDONOMICS AT WORK: I ordered a 2 gallon sprayer for Gus in 2020 to use here at home. He wanted one to keep at the lakes, and then this year we had to replace the first one. The prices by year for the SAME EXACT product on reorder were:

Do NOT tell me the economy is NOT bad. If you think it's not bad then you live in your mom's basement or you live in subsidized housing, and you live on welfare! That's the ONLY way you could not feel the painful pinch of this eff't up economy! But hey, let's send another 95 BILLION to Ukraine to fight in a war they can NOT win (which is actually CODE for fund Democrat and deep state pockets).

Believe half what you see and none of what you hear! I just watched the debate from last week. One candidate flat out lied! And another, while not disqualifying, having your family play Donna Brazile while you play Hillary Clinton by stuffing the debate questions to your favor is tacky. It’s a level of cheating that makes me question the character of the candidate. People pay attention! Do your homework. As much as I would like your vote, I want you to cast a vote that aligns with you. Know all of the candidates on your ballot!
