Actor Bill Cobbs, known for his roles in "Night at the Museum," "The Bodyguard," "Air Bud" and more, has died, a rep for Cobbs confirmed to Good Morning America. He was 90.

Cobbs made his first big-screen appearance with a small role in 1974's “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three." He became a lifelong actor with some 200 film and TV credits.

Remebering Paul Chambers on his birthday !! 💙

Paul Laurence Dunbar Chambers, Jr. (April 22, 1935 – January 4, 1969) was a jazz double bassist.
A fixture of rhythm sections during the 1950s and 1960s, his importance in the development of jazz bass can be measured not only by the length and breadth of his work in this short period but also his impeccable time and intonation, and virtuosic improvisations.
He was also known for his bowed solos.
Chambers recorded some dozen albums as a leader or co-leader, and prolifically as a sideman notably as the anchor of trumpeter Miles Davis's "first great quintet" (1955-63) and with pianist Wynton Kelly (1963-68).

The creator of the award-winning kids’ show ‘Backyardigans,’ Janice Burgess, has passed away at the age of 72. She was known for many hit shows, such as being a lead writer on ‘Gullah Gullah Island’ and ‘Winx Club.’ Additionally, she oversaw the production of household-named shows like ‘Blue’s Clues’ and ‘Little Bill.’ RIP 🙏🏾!

Happy Birthday to our Shero & friend Ms. Gladys Maria Knight (born May 28, 1944), she is an American singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman. A seven-time Grammy Award-winner, Knight recorded hits through the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s with her family group Gladys Knight & the Pips, which included her brother Merald "Bubba" Knight and cousins William Guest and Edward Patten.
Knight has recorded two number-one Billboard Hot 100 singles ("Midnight Train to Georgia" and "That's What Friends Are For" which she did with Dionne Warwick, Sir Elton John and Stevie Wonder), eleven number-one R&B singles and six number-one R&B albums. She has won seven Grammy Awards (four as a solo artist and three with the Pips) and is an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Vocal Group Hall of Fame along with The Pips. Two of her songs ("I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and "Midnight Train to Georgia") were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for "historical, artistic and significant" value.
