We don't always get feedback when we're at an event and at this particular wedding, the bride and groom, unannounced, left early because their dog got loose and they had to go find him that night. (I felt like a waiter at a restaurant whose diners just ran out.) After the honeymoon the newlyweds called to apologize for their unexpected exit and offer a tip. Today, this inquiry just arrived from a guest who attended that event:

Congrats to Sophie on her Bat Mitzvah celebration at The Graduate in Providence, RI. Along with our party motivators JaJa & Nalia, our Green Screen Photo Booth, Dance Floor Lightshow and Full Room Uplighting, it was quite a production! And thanks to Paige, Sophie's mom for the kind words:

"We very much appreciated the professionalism, guidance, and experience that Pete brought to our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. His flexibility, knowledge of how to keep 13 year olds entertained, and his great musical repertoire were beyond appreciated! Not to mention, he brought with him amazing party motivators that truly made the difference. The dance offs with the kids were a highlight of the night, and their energy was infectious. Just had an incredible Bat Mitzvah up in Brunswick, Maine with Macie and 75 or 80 of her closest friends! Once we opened the dance floor it didn't slow down! Best Mitzvah I can remember! Our Amazing Magic Mirror was on hand too...Dazzling the guests and documenting the occasion...

We were at it again last Saturday...This time for Patrick & Katherine at Harrington Farm, Princeton, MA. At the venue we provided Full Room Uplighting...Our Amazing Magic Mirror Photo Booth and Me, you're humble and reliable DJ-Host. I LOVE groups like this. They came to have FUN! You'll see Pat & Katherine up in chairs...no they're not Jewish, but they wanted to do it anyway! Got a nice note on Sunday morning from the groom:

"Hey Pete, last night was A BLAST. We could not have asked for a better party thanks to you. We will certainly keep you in mind for future events."

Sometimes it take a few months for the dust to settle down and for reviews to appear. Such is the case with Mario & Emilee. Their wedding was at the tail end of August at their home way out in Western Massachusetts. It was a fabulous event!

Had a wonderful wedding on Sunday at Skymeadow Country Club in Nashua. The weather was perfect for the outside ceremony and the guests were ready to go when the dance floor opened! Marcus & Lexi already posted a fabulous review! So happy that they're
happy!

"Pete was very attentive and had many helpful suggestions regarding timing of songs and events. He checked in with us multiple times to ensure things were to our satisfaction which was very nice considering how crazy weddings tend to be.

We especially enjoyed the photo booth. Many guests utilized it throughout the evening and the pictures printed instantly, which was a hit amongst the kids at the wedding.

Both the bride and groom had specific covers of songs, and Pete went the extra mile to help us find them. We would recommend him for any event."

Had a great afternoon with Sofia and the Pomerantz family at the Danversport Yacht Club. Sofia is an accomplished violinist and singer and treated us to a live performance! Lots of games, prizes and of course fun tunes filled the afternoon. Our Photo Booth was also quite busy!

Every so often a wedding comes along that is very memorable...I call them “Adventure Weddings”....Like the time I went to New York for a wedding that included a trip to Yankee Stadium, or when I made the ferry ride to a wedding on Martha’s Vineyard. I just had another memorable weekend at Wentworth By the Sea in New Castle, NH.

It didn’t start out well though, as a blizzard was bearing down on us and I was very concerned for my family, whom I would have to leave. But...Duty called and I was told that the Wentworth had it’s own generator, and with most of the guests arriving on Friday, this wedding was going forward rain or shine. I had to be there.

It helped that the bride generously offered me a room for both Friday and Saturday nights, so I got there before the snow began, and didn’t leave until the sun was shining on Sunday morning. My room at the Wentworth was right next to the elevator that would take me up the the ballroom, so it’s was like having my own dressing room! (I felt like a fat, spoiled house cat.)

The wedding ceremony and reception were wonderful, and it didn’t hurt that I had a captive audience!

And to top it off...I received a wonderful review from our couple!

This turned out to be one of the best wedding experiences I’ve had in my 30+ years! And here are a few photos of the fun...

Special thanks go to our clients who took time to post a flattering review for us, but also to our DJs, Photo Booth Hosts, Audio and Lighting Specialists who provided fabulous performances! I don't post very many of our reviews, but I like this one a lot and it was a really fun event and couple. (ooga shakah ooga ooga ooga shakah) It's from Courtney and Sam's wedding at the Woodstock Inn..."We would highly recommend Pete Chambers for anyone starting their wedding planning search. From the planning process to the day of the wedding, Pete is a true professional who thinks through all the details to make sure you have a great day. He curated the perfect night for us from ceremony to cocktail hour and a reception where no one left the dance floor. Our ceremony was in a park with no electric outlets but Pete made it easy with his wireless setup, everyone could hear our music selections and the ceremony clearly. He helped us plan a fun entrance to the reception and made sure to add our first dance song to his library. Pete incorporated all our must play songs and kept the night running smoothly so we did not have to worry about a thing. I love dancing at weddings and he did a perfect job keeping everyone entertained, dancing and having a good time."

Back at the Barn at Bull Meadow on Saturday and had a fabulous time with Jennifer & Nicholas! It was a LOT WARMER than our last date there in January! (by about 60 degrees!) It was a tad breezy outside though, so the bride chose to get married inside on the dance floor. And after dinner that same dance floor came alive!!

And it was nice to get some positive vibes back from the newlyweds...See The Knot review.
