Good morning,
After much consideration this ministry page will transition over the next week into Rogue Hope business page. I understand if you choose to unfollow as it is not why you originally joined. I have had some significant changes to my spiritual journey over the last year. Preaching does not feel right nor continuing to run a Christian ministry. My path has led me elsewhere and I’m excited to make this move in my journey. My core values hold true within and my hope is you will all stay and be apart of this transition and journey with me.

On this Christmas day, a special crossover event is happening: the first night of Hanukkah also begins at sunset!

This isn’t the first time these two holidays have overlapped, but it’s a rare treat. Thanks to differences in the Jewish and Gregorian calendars, Hanukkah and Christmas align roughly every 19 years, but not always on the first night of Hanukkah. The last time this exact overlap occurred was in 2005... and the next won’t be until 2061!

Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem during the 2nd century BCE. It’s a celebration of resilience, miracles, and hope – a fitting message for this time of year.

This overlap in holiday celebrations is a beautiful reminder of the warmth, light, and positive energy that are shared by traditions across different faiths, regardless of what belief system you belong to.

Whether you’re lighting candles, hanging stockings, or both, this unique convergence is an opportunity to connect across faith boundaries and share appreciation for valued traditions.
