Way too often people get the dog because it looks cool. This can become a huge nightmare for you and the dog. Make sure to research the breed (or breeds in the mix). If any of the temperaments or energy level are not ideal for your family.....Find a breed (or mix) that is. By doing this you are creating less reasons for dogs to be dumped in the shelter, you should be bonding with the breeder, and you are stopping the rehoming that could effect your dogs future. Take time, be patient and the perfect dog will present its self. I promise.

We strive to find good homes for the Dutch Shepherd and Belgian Malinois we own. The Dutchie has a calmer temperment which is why cross breeding the 2 very similar dogs works so well, but that doesn't mean it tones down energy or drive. Active homes is necessary and dedication to training and mental stimulation takes forefront.
