The No. 3 seeded Mustangs advanced into the California Interscholastic Federation NorCal Regional Division V championship game following a decisive 14-4 victory in five innings over No. 7 Balboa in the semifinals on Thursday afternoon.

The school year was officially over earlier this week for King City High students with the exception of one particular group that is still looking to take care of some unfinished business.

Tonight the Lady Mustangs softball team sunk the Buccaneers of Balboa High from San Francisco, 14-4,on their path to the D-V Championship in Biggs this Friday. They continued their all out assault on their opponents as they showed them how we take care of business in Southern Monterey County. This Friday they take on Biggs High School in Biggs, CA just North of Yuba City at 4PM.

We continue to applaud you and celebrate your victories as you bring home wins and pride ladies. Keep up the amazing team work, we are all behind you.
