Some paintings have a mild mixture of food coloring added to the coffee for enhanced pigmentation. Kape (coffee in Tagalog) Art is the visualization of prophetic dreams and visions, conscious or unconscious, using coffee as a medium. Dreams and visions are where our natural and spiritual lives meet. My use of the coffee is twofold. First, it is physically present in each painting as the medium its

elf. Second, it represents awakening, strength, clarity of thought, and the outpouring of a spirit weather Holy or unholy. I believe that God has blessed me with artistic abilities and I want to honor Him through my art. My spirit was inspired to fulfill my artistic talents when I stumbled upon Exodus 31:3 while reading the Bible: “I have filled him (her) with the Spirit of God, giving him (her) great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.”

"𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣"

This painting was inspired because one of Betha Bach’s friends who underwent chemotherapy treatments during a bout with cancer. The woman’s hair loss forms the stormy waves below her boat, a symbol of the emotional turmoil that accompanies the sudden loss of a woman’s external beauty due to the harsh treatments. The storm in the background is the uncertainty of the future compiled on the sickening torment that follows the ingestion of the toxic chemo. Yet the woman sleeps peacefully in the boat, blanketed by the comforter, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit who is available to her because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross, which stands as the mast in the center of the boat. The three oars complete the presence of the Trinity in this scene and are there for power and guidance. The example of this type of peace is explained in the book of Luke 8:23-25.

Noah's Ark, in the Bible, is represented as a vessel of deliverance from judgment, because it literally was for Noah and his family. A place of safety and peace. As children of God, we can find this place of safety and deliverance in our relationship with Jesus. We can experience peace and joy regardless of what is taking place around us.

Betha shows a wonderful scene in the Ark that Noah may have experienced with many of the birds on board. He is at rest while he joyfully interacts with his winged companions. Meanwhile, outside, the storms and floods rage.

Let's break this down. Fear is, quite simply, the presentation of false information appearing real to you in order to make you feel afraid. If this acronym is true, then the subject of your fear is simply appearing to you as something much scarier than it actually is. Knowing this should, in turn, make it exceptionally easier to conquer and less likely to subdue you in your pursuits to lead! Allowing yourself to let go of your preliminary fears, or, false evidence, will reward you ten fold simply by making the start easier for you every time action is required afterward.
