The Nerd started his carreer as a Professional DJ Entertainer for Sound Decision DJ Services in Pennsauken NJ in 1985, serving all of New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. He returned home to North Carolina in 1990 and took a 10 year break from the DJ Entertainment world. In late 2000 he entered into the fray again working for Lanny miller of M&M Sounds DJ and Karaoke Services. In 2003, he became t
he Friday night feature at Starz Entertainment and Karaoke Club in Winston Salem until the club closed in 2004. It didn't take long for M&M Sounds and The Nerd to land another permanent gig at Legends Bar in Winston Salem where he ran a Saturday night show for 7 consecutive years. In March of 2014, he was asked by Jerry Holt to join the team of on air personalities at WTOB AM1380. After about 3 months the entire team move to WSMX AM1500. He enjoyed a great run as a DJ every Saturday morning, along with some production and engineering work. He left WSMX in January of 2015 to pursue internet radio. During the same timeframe, March 2014- present, He joined the on air staff at www.skyblueradio.com. He airs three shows a week, Wednesday night 9pm-11pm EST, Friday night 9pm-11pm EST and Saturday morning 10am-Noon Eastern. He is the Sheduling Manager for Sky Blue Radio. He also produces advertisements and promotional spots.
