Boost your strategy with these social media tips.

Research best posting times // Each account can have a different time where their followers are online so there’s no one size fits all. You can view your best times to post in your Instagram insights or the scheduling tool you use.

Create an on-brand feed // While the times of perfect feeds are fading out, there still needs to be an element of cohesivness to your social posts. Your brand is an identity for your ideal customer/patient. If you’re creating posts that don’t flow with your brand then your patients have no way to automatically identify your post. Therefore, they scroll right past.

Think like the customer // Some entreprenuers have a difficult time viewing things from the customers perpective. This is crucial to creating the right content to reach your ideal audience! If you’re stuck on what to post because of this, it may be time to outsource your social media.

Outsouce your areas of struggle // That leads us to this tip. If you’re not posting because you’re short on time, don’t know what to write, not sure what’s trending and so on, it’s time to out source. Instagram is the golden ticket marketing strategy in aesthetics if you utilize it correctly! Don't hurt yourself by posting blah content or not posting at all.

Social media is only for millennials…
Social media isn’t for me and my business…
I can’t grow on social media, so it must be luck for them…

I’ve heard it all, and can PROVE to you that you’re wrong.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Listen, if you’re putting limits on social media marketing then you’re setting yourself up for failure.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are a few reasons why you NEED to be on social media consistently:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To reach people who don’t know you exist yet.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To tell others about who you are, what you do, and show proof of your work.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are a few things you should never do:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
STOP obsessing over your competition!! Competition is healthy for a growing business, but you can’t be stalking their page to find out what they’re doing next. With this comes stress, anxiety, and negative thoughts. Who cares what Betty from 695 Seventh St is doing?! Stay in your lane and address your own business.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t limit your reach to your direct location. Reach 30 minutes radius around your location (depending on where you are). This is a great opportunity to get your work in front of new faces to gain new patients. Somebody once told me “They already have a medspa there so I don’t want to reach that area.” WHAT?! Huge mistake! Even if there’s an office there, maybe somebody doesn’t like their services and would drive to you.

Coming back at you with part 3 on building the best marketing strategy!

As a medspa, it’s most likely your goal to grow locally at first then branch out as you get bigger. (If this is not your goal then you may have a bigger problem)

As a local business, it’s important to connect with your community to let people know you’re around. You can do some of this through collaborations, using local hashtags and by optimizing local SEO with a professional.

Did you know?
82% of smartphone users conduct ‘near me’ searches while looking for any product or service. Hence, local medical spa SEO is an integral aspect of your medical spa marketing efforts.

This can be done through your website, a Google business page, through Google Maps, among others.

Please note: SEO is not for beginners. I advise you seek professional assistance with somebody that knows how to optimize and perform the best SEO practices! Always remember, you pay for what you get!

A marketing strategy is used as a guide for attracting the right clients to your business. When utilizing a marketing strategy, you can then track your analytics to see where you need to reevaluate content or post more of the content that works. A good marketing strategy also includes your website, newsletters, flyers, gaining reviews and so much more!

Why should you choose a marketing expert with experience in medical aesthetics?

Short story..

Because why would you choose a social media manager or website designer with mostly restaurant experience?
You wouldn’t..

Long story…

Aesthetics is such a large industry that has hundreds of treatment options at our fingertips. If your marketing expert doesn’t stay up to date on the latest treatments offered or spend time learning them inside and out, how do you expect them to gain you ideal patients?

So, how do you know if they really have experience in aesthetics?

Ask for current clients pages they work with as a reference.
Check out their content, graphic design work, websites, etc.
Ask them how many years they’ve been working in the industry.
Ask how they got started in the aesthetics industry.

By then, you’ll likely have a good idea if they know what they’re doing and if they're a good fit for you.

Throughout the chaos of the past year and continued into 21', I've decided that a little positivity goes a long way. Negativity has no place in 2021 and I'm happy about that.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This book was helpful in the way of confidence and realizing that we are the true CEO's of our lives. Our choices determine our path. You are also not other peoples mistakes and regrets. Wipe those feelings you are carrying for everyone else off your shoulder and stand up!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you're constantly being salesy and not connecting with your audience, that's why you aren't growing.⠀
Being spammy is just going to turn people away - We don't live in 2009 anymore.🙅‍♀️⠀

When I create my content I plan nearly half of my posts to just provide a connection - EVEN FOR MEDSPAS.⠀
If I were to come into your clinic then I'm most definitely going to want to feel some kind of connection before I even get there! Why should I trust you if I don't know you?⠀

Building a connection is actually easier than you think!⠀
Stories are the perfect way to do this! Be real in your videos, provide value, fix their problem and have fun!⠀
Be real in your comments and make them feel like you actually care.⠀
Respond to every DM, comment or engagement on your profile. It just shows you care about your audience.⠀

A website is a design aspect in itself, and should represent your company to a T.

I carry over my creative work in the websites I build and it’s really one of my favorite things to do!
Websites aren’t just about design as we should all know by now.
A few points to keep in mind for your website are:
Navigation | Your website should be simple and easy to get from one place to the next without confusion. Less is more.

Visual | This is where design comes in! People are very visual and an appealing website design can influence visitors to stay longer.

Content | This is the backbone to every website. Your copy should be informative, easy to read and concise. Content plays a major role in your website placement in search engines!

Web Friendly | SEO is where it’s at in order for your website to be discovered. It needs to function for different browsers including being mobile friendly! Make sure your web designer knows what they are doing when it comes to optimizing your website!

Branding | Like I said before, your website should be a direct reflection of your business and brand! Your visitor should immediately make a visual connection between your logo, print material, and your business location. Make them remember YOU.

I could talk about websites all week, but I won’t bore you with the technicals!

📱Today I want to touch on social media marketing, share a few tips and how it can benefit your business!

If you are a business and you just aren’t seeing much activity from your social media accounts you may be missing a few things.

Here are some tips:
💵 Are you Boosting\Promoting your posts?
If not, this is one thing I’d budget for! Boosting a post is going to get you that local attention you need for your business. It’s always best to hire a professional for this that’s had experience and knows how to stretch your budget.

♻️ CONSISTENCY is the key to it all!
Make sure you are posting often enough – If you want to be noticed then you HAVE to put yourself out there!

#️⃣ Use local and relevant hashtags only on Instagram.
This helps so much and is the number 1 thing I make sure to research every month. Hashtags don’t do much on Facebook though and tend to be more annoying to your audience.

🗓 Another helpful tip is to make a social media plan! Lay out what your goal is for marketing, a deadline and what content you want to provide your audience! This will give you a better idea for the direction you’re headed!
