1430 KYKN Radio The Mid-Valley's Best Live Talk 1430 KYKN is the Local News, Talk, and Information station of the Mid-Willamette Valley. Weekend hosts include Kim Komando.

Our Local Talk Show Newsmakers at Noon with Denise and Hunter stay abreast of timely local and national issues that are important to area listeners, airing Monday through Thursday at noon. Fridays at noon is Rural Matters with Jake Atsma. Warren Franklin leads our morning team that starts the day for thousands of locals along with national talk show host Glenn Beck. National talk hosts Todd Starne

s, Bill O’Reilly, Sebastian Gorka, Charlie Kirk, and Dennis Prager round out the day. For the last 24 years, KYKN has been The University of Oregon's affiliate for football and basketball in this part of Oregon. KYKN also features high school football broadcasts in the fall.

Merry Christmas, dear KYKN listeners! As we gather around the warmth of the season, let us remember the true light of the world, Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate. May the peace and joy of His love fill your hearts and homes.

In this season of giving and receiving, let us embrace the gift of love that Christ brought into the world. May His teachings guide us to be kinder, more compassionate, and more loving to one another.

As we stand on the threshold of a new year, let's carry this spirit forward. May 2025 bring you closer to God, to your loved ones, and to a deeper understanding of His boundless grace.

Fay DeMeyer-Aunspaugh was more than just a cherished member of the KYKN family; she was the heartbeat of our community. Her inspirational shows resonated deeply with countless listeners, bringing hope, wisdom, and love into their lives. Today, we at KYKN mourn the loss of a dear friend and colleague who was truly irreplaceable. Fay’s warmth, authenticity, and genuine spirit made her a beacon to all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her absence leaves an unfillable void.

Fay’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering faith. She challenged us all to walk our best walk with Jesus daily, to embrace who we are without apology, and to love fiercely and unconditionally. The impact she had on our lives is beyond measure, and her memory will continue to inspire us every day.
