I'm a national network news field producer turned freelance media consultant, producer, editor and photographer. Storytelling, through video and still photography, is my passion. Originally from Chicago, I've lived all over the country and traveled the world. I've experienced life in LA and New York City and now call Utah home. With over 20 years experience in broadcasting, producing both live and
packaged television, I've had the privilege of sharing history as it unfolds to a worldwide audience. I now offer that expertise and experience to my clients, building their story and driving value for their brand. As a former producer for Fox News Channel and NBC News, I have covered some of the most important events of the last two decades, including: the 2016 presidential race, the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing, Hurricane Sandy, increased violence along the US/Mexico border, the 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel, the aftermath of the attacks on the World Trade Center and many more. As a coordinating producer, I have lead major field coverage on several stories, successfully managing a team of anchors, correspondents, producers, crews and truck engineers. Some of these stories include: Hurricane Katrina, coverage of Ground Zero following the death of Osama Bin Laden and Michael Jackson’s memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. In addition to my work at Fox and NBC I worked as a field producer for former Vice President Al Gore during his 2000 presidential bid. In that capacity I traveled the country producing Mr. Gore's live satellite media tours from his campaign stops. My extensive experience in technical operations, production, video editing, writing and field producing has given me the skills and knowledge necessary to be a leader as the media business evolves with new forms of distribution, technology, formats and transmission options.
