I was saddened to learn late last week of the passing of Rob Jackels. Rob was known by everyone to be the go to guy for your small engine repair and sometimes doing it for little or no charge for those less fortunate. In 2022, Rob was awarded Kaukauna Volunteer of the year for his help with the car show to benefit the Grignon Mansion. A car show that produced the largest attended event annually for the last 3 years. On behalf of the Common Council, city staff and myself we thank you for all you have done for the betterment of our community. Godspeed my friend 🧡🖤
