MY 4-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER STARTED DRAWING DARK PICTURES — MY LIFE WAS NEVER THE SAME WHEN I LEARNT WHY.

My 4-year-old daughter's teacher told me that Emma's behavior had worsened, and she started drawing DARK pictures. I became worried. In the evening, I decided to talk to Emma about it.

"Sweetheart, why have your paintings at daycare become so dark? What happened to happy Emma?" I asked.

She remained silent for a moment. So, I said, "Sweetie, you can tell your mom everything."

"I found Daddy's secret," she said quietly.
"What secret, honey?" I asked her.

I have been living in my house for 50 years and have never seen such jerks! The new entitled neighbors moved in a few weeks ago. With three cars and only two driveway spaces, they decided my front lawn was the perfect spot for their big pickup.

The first time I saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes — a heavy truck right in the middle of my neatly trimmed grass. I hobbled outside and asked them — politely at first — to move it. The wife, a sour-faced woman who looked at me like I was something unpleasant on her shoe, just shrugged. "We've got three cars and only two spaces. You don't have a car, so what's the harm?"

At 65 years old, I realized that my life had come to a standstill. I spent all my younger years working to sustain my kids. It hadn't been in vain — I helped them buy homes, set up their lives. But I was left with hardly any savings.

So, even at my age, I took a job as a cleaner in a furniture store. I don't see anything shameful in this — there's nothing wrong with working to put food on the table, especially right before Christmas. I wanted to buy gifts for my kids and grandkids, and it all gets more expensive.

Days ago, by chance, my son Matthew came into the store where I work. I walked over to greet him with a hug, but he turned and ran away in horror. It made me feel awful — had I really failed to teach my children basic respect?

I tried calling him, but he declined, as did my daughter. On Christmas Eve, my children left me completely alone just because I am a cleaner.

I cried all night. The next day, I heard a knock at the door — surely, it was my neighbor who didn't want to leave me by myself.

But, as it turned out, it wasn't her.👇
