Brand New Idol, Platform One, V. Nigel, and Serious Vanity Music go way back. I was privileged for both acts to be featured on the goth/electronic/pop volume of "Bangs...Sounds of the 80s" in the early 2000s, and would love for you to read this message and point your dollars in the right place. Here's a message from BNI:

"As most of you know, we lost our dear friend V. Nigel Taylor back in March of this year. What many don't know is that he was a member of our band Brand New Idol for several years. Back in 2007, we recorded Nigel's vocals for our version of the Platform One song Truth, which was intended to be included on an album that was never released. Fans of Platform One might be familiar with the BNI version as the "Sunday Show" version they played live at conventions for years.

We could think of no greater tribute to a man who loved music and performing so deeply, than to give his family, friends and fans this one final encore.

All proceeds from this release will go directly to Hilary to help with Nigel's final expenses."
