A small group of weather enthusiasts founded SWEAR Institute in 97 and in 2022 partnered with BNL Media and was renamed to Fourstates Weather.

Fourstate Weather in partnership with BNL Media is an organization that assists with severe weather awareness and preparedness through education, research, and direct involvement. What began as a group hoping to witness the great shows of Mother Nature has evolved into a much more important goal: Reduce the number of lives lost due to hazardous weather. Fourstates Weather is comprised of professio

nals in Geo and atmospheric science research, emergency management, computers and technology, media and public relations, and other diverse group of volunteers.
