Show & new album announcement!

If you know me, you know my releases are themed. This next album is full of love songs. A couple sweet ones, others questioning what love may even be, but they all delve in and explore the topic. More info on the new album soon. It’s out on bandcamp February 13th, everywhere else February 14th!

The full band will be there for the show! The album release shows will be more stripped down to accommodate the new songs; folkier in spirit. I’ve got some great friends and great songwriters playing with me at these shows. They’re all can’t miss.

Our Story (for lack of a better title)

“The Scene w/ Pretty Boy” brings you the past, present & future of Kansas City's regional music scene, Fridays @ 10pm CT on Kearney, MO’s 102.7 FM KPGZ-lp. The station can be heard over the air in east-central Clay County, MO, as well as online at www.1027fm.rocks. TuneIn users can also find the station by searching “KPGZ”. The show features a strong cross-section of the musical talents the Kansas City area has to offer (as well as artists with a strong KC connection). The show also features artists from Lawrence, St. Joseph, and other cities in the region. Expect to hear rock, metal, punk, rockabilly, blues, folk, alternative, alt-country, roots, Americana, experimental and just about any (and every) other genre you can imagine. Weekly features include “Spotlight on The Scene”, an in-depth look at one of the region’s top artists (or “hidden gems”), and the “Scene Stealer” song of the week.

Pretty Boy has been involved with 102.7 FM as a volunteer since October 2013. He’s been a show host since November 2015, originally co-hosting the weekly retro metal show “Hair Band Heaven” alongside BK. He inherited “The Scene” (from BK) in May 2016.
