We recently had the honor of working with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City to record & mix their incredible live production of Menotti’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors” - first commissioned and performed right here in Kansas City in 1951. In addition to live puppetry, the performance consisted of a 9 piece orchestra, 6 soloists, and 8 chorus members all socially distanced, etc. - providing it’s own challenges for recording. Expertly filmed by Jeff Peak & his team - we feel we were able to capture something truly special & one of a kind. Originally slated for a limited audience, this performance will live solely online, which you can access at kcopera.org through the end of January. We’d like to thank Jeff and The Lyric for trusting us to do their months and months of hard work justice. Please take some time & enjoy!

We had the pleasure of working with Nufolk & the Ashley Aune for Missouri campaign on their first run of spots. We recorded one line of dialogue on set for the opening shot & used our contactless remote VO kit for rest. For that, we drop the VO kit at your door, you plug everything in, connect the computer to the internet & we do the rest. Then to finish we mixed the :15, :30 & :60 to spec with a little light sound design at the end. They wanted to futz the VO to sound like it was coming from a megaphone - so that’s what we did! Really happy with how it turned out. Check out the spot in our linktree where you will also find a link to her campaign website. “Good’s playful film is jam-packed with visual flourishes, creative storytelling shortcuts, and a dense aural landscape that's best appreciated when listening on headphones. He gives the viewer so much information about Jenny and Lynn’s past that it might be hard for some viewers to keep up with the narrative flow, but if you stick with it and give it a re-watch or two, you might find it quite dazzling.”

Hello, World. We are a small (just the two of us), boutique audio post house with a mindset oriented toward story, creativity & detail. You may know us as Production Sound Mixers, but Post-Production has always been in our hearts. While being on set is incredible (don’t worry, we aren’t giving that up) - our job is largely technical. Sure there’s creative problem solving but in Post we build worlds. Tell stories. Help the viewer become lost. Or maybe at times hyper aware of reality. We absolutely love all the possibilities there are to use sound to tell a story, convey an emotion or simply put you in a different space - and we are extremely excited to officially begin serving you for all your audio post needs.
