BREAKING: Darius Sullivan has been found guilty in the murder of Bradley Police Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic and guilty in the attempted murder of Sgt. Tyler Bailey. Following the verdict, Bradley Chief of Police Don Barber and Michael McTighe (of Illinois Concerns of Police Survivors) gave statements outside of the Kankakee County Courthouse. Balloon release vigil for Ja'Mir Frazier - Daily Journal Kankakee
In a large show of support from family, friends and the community, hundreds gathered at Beckman Park Wednesday evening for a balloon release vigil to honor 6-year-old Ja'Mir Frazier.
Ja'Mir fell into the Kankakee River on Tuesday at the Beckman Park boat launch.
