Dozens of animals were removed Wednesday morning from a Bedford Township property operating as an animal rescue as part of an ongoing investigation into possible neglect.

Calhoun County residents have voiced concerns about the potholes on several roads in the county, none more problematic than 6 Mile Road between Newton and Leroy townships.

News Channel 3 was back out that way on Wednesday evaluating the conditions there, and several of the potholes have been filled with cold-fill asphalt, a common short-term solution that the Calhoun County Road Department (CCRD) previously said they would add.
