The email, sent by Senior Director International Student and Scholar Services Brian Childs, noted that WMU staff members who routinely check SEVIS found that four international students had been removed by the Department of Homeland Security.

“Termination of SEVIS status can lead to being asked to leave the country,” reads WMU’s Federal Policy Resources webpage. “Whether individuals will ultimately have their visas revoked is under the purview of the U.S. Department of State.”

Western Herald’s Editorial Board has made the executive decision to return to the roots of newspaper distribution by using pigeons to distribute all future print editions of Western Herald.

The consensus was unanimous with the reasoning that pigeons are quicker and more agile than the Editorial Board, and would be able to distribute papers more efficiently.

“Dreamgirls,” a musical originating in 1981, follows three musically talented young girls, Effie White, Deena Jones, and Lorrell Robinson, as they form a girl group known as The Dreamettes under cutthroat salesman Curtis Taylor Jr.
