Tidal Echoes is thrilled to reveal our 2026 journal’s featured writer and they are:

Jonas Lamb!

Jonas lives in Juneau, Alaska and he has a deep passion for reading and writing poetry. In fact, his debut poetry collection titled “What Turtle Blood Tastes Like” was recently released this September! The poems within the pages weave together narrative threads of childhood, fatherhood, and the environment that surrounds all of us. The team at Tidal Echoes are honored to have a poet like Jonas Lamb be featured in our 2026 journal!

We hope that everyone who reads the newest edition of Tidal Echoes will love being immersed in his pieces, as well as enjoy the exclusive interview that we held with him! He gave us a fascinating glimpse behind the curtain of poem writing, and publishing them into a book!

Please keep your eyes peeled for next year when we hold our annual launch for the journal!

What a launch party! A huge thank you to Corinna Cook and Mark Sixbey for sharing their wisdom and work with us. And wow, do we love seeing our community come out to celebrate art. We had over 100 folks in the room/online to sit together and say: stories matter. Art matters. Gunalchéesh, Southeast Alaska.
