Do you conceal carry? Do you believe in being prepared and capable to protect your loved ones at all times, even though you pray you never have to?

In 2018, my Heather and I were ambushed, kidnapped, held at gunpoint on our knees, and robbed. It was the most helpless feeling I’ve ever felt in my lifetime.
•
I grew up hunting w/my Dad and Uncle. I’ve always enjoyed, respected and been proficient with fi****ms.. It’s normal where I’m from.. Small town, rural America.
•
But it was never my priority to pack a gun with me at all times.. Until I had to watch the love of my life on her knees, 25ft away from me, with a pistol grip sawed off 12g shotgun to the back of her head.. while I had a revolver to the back of mine.. This situation changed me…
•
So if you’re not into guns and shooting and wonder why I am.. Maybe this story will help you to understand. We are shaped by our experiences in life.. And hopefully we make rational decisions based on past lessons learned to prevent future failures..
