House fire in Burlington, two transported to hospital —

BURLINGTON, Kan. (KOAM) — About 7 a.m. Tuesday reports of smoke and flames at a residence, 412 Des Moines St., alerted Burlington Fire Dept.

Burlington Police say the residents are ok but two people were transported to Coffey County Hospital with unknown injuries.

Firefighters were still on scene as of 9 a.m. We will update details as they become available from authorities.
